Thank you! I'm working in Autodesk 2007 and i can't seem to get any good tutorials on how it works or how to get it started. I don't understand how to set it up or how it works conceptually.

Oh, okay. Check out this thread. I'd also get Paul Aubins book. In this thread there is a link to download chapter 5. It explains project navigator. I'd start there.
