Slab edge moves with wall

We have found that when a slab is drawn with an edge coinciding with an existing wall the slab edge locks to the wall and therefore moves with the wall when the wall is moved. There is apparantely no way to disconect the wall from the slab edge with the only work around being to cut the wall and paste the wall back in the same location, however this is a problem when the wall has tags associated with it as all these tags will disappear when the wall is cut and pasted. has anyone else encountered this problem and is there a solution to it?

This is a fatal flaw in the software.
The best solution/workaround is to group your slabs.

When I have this problem I select the wall and click top/base: detach. Then another button appears labeled "detach all". After clicking that the wall is detached from everything. I apologize if I am not understanding your problem correctly.
