Default Duct Liner? any why to have it "on" by default?

Any way to have duct liner on by default?

Why doesn't MEP "make" the ductwork larger when you add Liner? instead of making the "airway" smaller and leaving the outside dimensions the same? I would think when you select a duct size that it would be the airside measurements not the outside sheetmetal size...

Or again am I a moron and doing it all wroug....

Yes, my name is Bill and I'm a REVIT MEP rookie....

Aside from spelling wrong wrong, no it's a shortcoming of the software.

Welcome, many times you will feel like this but you will also be able to produce a better, more buildable design. And, someday when RMEP is both beautiful and elegant, you will be primed to take advantage of all it's promising features.
