    On a side note, I am going to be looking to see if there are any deals for students on hardware. If anyone knows about a good site or program, please share

    Dell offeres both students and faculty discounts on systems. As faculty I bought my first Dell that way. They aslo had financing that was to cheap to pass up. Made money in the market while paying for Dell.

    Also a lot of campus bookstores hae deals directly with particular manufactures.

    Select the "Education" option on the right. They make it look like you need to be a school, but it is for students too.
