    Default Modify a non-standard linetype file

    We received a drawing from our client that was produced by another firm. They have some nice linetypes but they are not exactly what I want. I've added the linetypes from the other drawing to my drawing through Adcenter. But where is the actual .lin file for my drawing and how can I modify it.

    If I can figure this out, I'll add the modified linetype to my acad.lin file as a standard linetype.

    Your client should have the .LIN file. Linetype definitions are stored in the drawing so there is no need to ship a .LIN file.

    To extract the linetype definitions from a drawing to a .LIN file, use NEW-LIN.LSP found here:
