    Default working without network drives

I am working on a project with a partner for the semester. I am trying to determine the most effective way to coordinate revit files. Since we do not have a network drive, I can not setup a central file. The best solution I could think of is to link the computers and setup a central off my local drive plus a local file for which to work in? We live in the same building and with a hard line connection I can find her computer. The idea of importing a file is not an effective if we could find a way to work on the file at the same time.

That should be fine. As long you remember to not work off the central file and to make local files, you should be fine.
