Question Legend Table & Plotting Issues

I have a Arch D size map I'm trying to plot to DWF using the OOTB DWF6 eplot.pc3 plot driver.

When I plot the layout with the Plot Area set to "layout", the portions of my legend which have shading/color blocks do not show up in the DWF.

If I plot the layout with the Plot Area set to "Window" and plot just a small portion of the map (including the legend), everything shows up fine.

I am plotting from paperspace, I have two viewports on my layout - one contains the actual map, the other contains the legend table.

    How can I fix this?

Right click the layout tab, and select page setup manager.
In the dialogue box select the new button, and give it a name.
The attached image is of a typical setting for the driver & size you requested.
Please note the "Plot options" frame settings.
Save, apply to the layout, and close.

Hopfully this resolves your issue. If it dosn't, make a slight change to the "Plot area" settings to be not "Layout" but "Extents.

Give it a go, and let us know how it worked out....

Well, unfortunately that did nothing for me.

I've opened the drawing this morning, and now none of the FDO connected objects appear in my viewport.

    Does Map3D work at all?

Red face Re: Legend Table & Plotting Issues

We've had a similar issue (as well as many other issues with map), and what I found to fix it is to lock the view scale on the drawing. Zoom as far in as you can to insert the legend, then insert it, then lock the little blue lock on your bottom right toolbar. This, for some reason, made all of our items show up.

What other issues have you been having? We should talk.
