    Default Rotate Text

I am rotating a drawing with a number of text items on it. After my drawing is reoriented the text now needs to be rotated back 90 degrees to its original position. Is there a command that will rotate multiple pieces of text about its own base point at the same time?

    Thank you,

    mj

You could select all the text opjects, open the properties palette and give a global rotation value which is based on the individual text objects base points.

Oops, didn't read your post right.

You will need to set the text to match orientation, through properties. And if you want all text to behave that way then set it in text style to match orientation.

I use a third party application, GeoTools, which does this (relative rotate) nicely.

There may be lisps out there as well, I am not sure.
Why draw straws? Just draw one straw and array it.

Type a text string as you want, then MATCHPROP, first that string, then all the targets.
