Linked Ceilings

I have a strange display issue with one of my linked arch models. The arch model has all the rooms rcp's displaying correctly. My MEP model only shows one room that has an rcp.

I have tried all the settings for view range with no luck. Everything is turned on correctly in VG. My HVAC ceiling plan is a coordination view.

What are the elevations of the various ceilings? If they are all the same elevation, this is very curious.

How are your Levels and View Ranges defined?

The image you presented *COULD* happen in this scenario:

Level 1 in arch model at 0'
Level 2 in arch model at 14'
Level 1 Ceilings in arch model at 8', and 10' 6"

Level 1 in MEP model at 0'
Level 2 in MEP model at 10'
Ceiling view in Level 1 MEP model defined with top of view as 'Level Above (Level 2)'

In this scenario, the ceiling(s) at 8' would be visible in the MEP Level 1 ceiling view, but the ceilings at 10'6 would not be visible, because the view range only goes up to 10'.

The solution in this scenario would be to make sure Levels are copy/monitored properly, and that any coordination review warnings are heeded.

Without seeing sections, etc, of your model, and the settings within your view range, it is hard to speculate much beyond this.

I just figured it out. The arch had their ceiling plans set to none for the phase filter.

Instructing them on Phases.
