    Default transfer point from AutoCAD to excel

    Hi all,
    I have many coordinates points in AutoCAD file and I need to enter them inside excel sheet dose any one have an idea how to this?
    Note I used AutoCAD 2009

    Data extraction maybe (command dataextraction)? If you say points, are they point entities or blocks? If points DE will only be able to extract their XYZ coordinates. If blocks, DE can also extract any attribute values.

    it didnt work for me
    i have this error:

    You might need to use (VL-LOAD-COM) first.

    It needs to be called once so the functions inside the lisp can work. Everything starting with vl is a Visual Lisp extension, which is by default not loaded. The vl-load-com loads all the Visual Lisp extension functions.

    The best bet is to add (vl-load-com) to the start of the LSP file which uses it. Otherwise you can add it to your ACADDOC.LSP file so it loads each time a DWG is opened - that's how I have it since many of my LSP's use these functions.
