Default Importing Fieldbooks in Civil 3D 2009

    I am importing a fieldbook but :-
    1) the coordinates seem to be multiplied by 0.3048
    2) the elevations do not seem to be calculated as they are not showing up when I view the points list.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I have to do to correct these errors?

Sounds like a units problem, where you have some settings in meters, and some settings in feet.

Which one did you really want to use? And did you start from a proper template (Imperial or Metric)?

There are many places that the units can be set, and they have to be set properly in all locations. This starts in your data collector, which puts unit coding in your FBK file. Your Survey Database also has unit settings, as well as your drawing. Improper settings at any point can cause an unwanted unit conversion.
