Default Error loading Map 2007 following installation

Can anyone help with a problem that is exasperating me!!

I have a client with 24 server licences of Map 2007 installed on about 55 PCs. All installations are fine apart from one! Following a 'successful' installation, I try to run the programme and get the following error message:

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 0h"

and Map fails to load and screen goes blank! I have tried the following:

    1. Reinstalling and repair.
    2. Complete deinstall, registry clean-up then reinstall.
    3. Upgraded the memory to 2 GBytes
    4. Installed a new graphics driver
    5. Sworn at and kicked the PC!!

None of these (including option 5) have worked.

I looked on Google and found a possible solution relating to the Cdilla application, but Map 2007 doesn't use Cdilla in favour of LM Tools and this is working fine for the other 55 users.

Does anyone have any ideas as to a solution?

    Philip

Sounds like you have tried it all. If you want one other option to try, try this......

Dunk it into a large body of water and completely submerge it while powered and then throw it from at least a 5 story building and see what happens. If it breaks completely then you know what the problem is. If it remains intacked then it's possessed and you should give it to a neighbor or something. lol
