Show steel X bracing as a single line in Fine Detail?

Hi

I'm drawing a section at 1:50 scale & I'd like to show steels members at their true size so have set the display to Fine Detail. However the X bracing are angles & confuse/obscure.

Is there a way to override the settings?

The only way I can think of, as framing beams are used for bracing, is to create separate families for each of the members I'd use for bracing & set the visibility in them.

Hopefully you know of a better/quicker way?

You can adjust the detail level to course through the visibility graphics. See attached.

You're showing the Revit Links tab. I have the elements in the model, however in the Model Categories, the sub categories for bracing under Structural Framing have the Detail Level greyed out.

It appears that only all elements under Structural Framing can be set. I hope I'm wrong.
Is there a way to amend sub categories?
