Default Create a Family with Multiple Types

I've been searching for the past hour for a quick, down and dirty tutorial on creating a simple family with two or three different types (I.E. a circle, square and triangle - just something to get me going in the right direction). Does anyone have anything or know of any links or could possibly post a sample file?

    Thanks in advance!

there are plenty of out of the box families that come with revit that have 2 or 3 different family types. Try reverse engineering one of those.
