    Unhappy Material Opacity

I have applied a material to an object, which makes the object appear opaque (Glass effect).
The model appears like glass when viewing using the Realistic visual style, but if I try to view the same material effect using the Conceptual visual style, the model appears solid.

Can anyone explain why this happens?

    Default Re: Material Opacity

The conceptual visual stype has "material display" set to "off". Creating a new style based on conceptual but with material display set to "materials and textures" might give you the combination you want.
