Anything that needed translation that wasnt a Keynote was an additional Shared Parameter that was then embedded in a set of Annotation Families with options for which Language shows.
Room Tags had both languages (or one or the other)
View titles we didnt translate, since they have numerics on them for references.
Notes were done in both languages (same system of translated in a Unicode Text document then brought in by the drafting staff, or (where applicable) typed directly in to Revit to correspond with their English counterparts.
The drawing list was done directly in the Drawing List itself, as a Sheet Shared Parameter.
Schedules, by and large, only had certain fields that had to be translated, and those fields were translated in to Korean Fields right in the Revit schedules or elements themselves. But they were also "done" in the Unicode text document, so the non-bilingual staff could copy and paste them from somewhere.
Worked like a charm.
I see. A combination of bilingual annotation families, probably with yes/no parameters, sheet shared parameters for the drawing list, a keynotes file for each language, etc. Very interesting solution.
The keynote Files were not for each language. We used one keynote file, with the English notation AS the Keynote number, and a Korean Note AS the Keynote Itself. This meant no one had to manually track the translations, besides the individual doing the translations.
Oh, I see, I thought the Keynote idea was to have only numbers to indicate materials or notes, and then, each team in each country would have a list of what the numbers meant in each language. Got it. Thanks for sharing.
Hi! In my opinion, it is possible, though it is not the most advantageous and some obstacles nevertheless will occur. By the way, if you have some problems with studying or creativity, address here and get some aid
