    Default New House Design

    This is anew house design that i have been working on, the house is a 5 bed 6 bath home with triple garage gym and swimming pool. All comments welcomed

    Is this a real project or hypothetical? What are the main goals of the project? At first glance there appears to be a lot of space for not a lot of substance.

    Yeah it looks like a very luxurious motel or a celebrities sanatorium. But it does look quite nifty from a design viewpoint.
    If this is a test of your skills rather than a proof of concept or viable design, then I think you succeeded.

    Yes this is a test of my skills, I am not an architect nor do I have any architectural training, I am a cad draughtsman mainly in the joinery field, but would love to work in architecture.

    Maybe its just how i look at the industry i am in, but the job i do is create shop layouts for cabinetry and panel fitting, so i create joinery (Woodworking) drawings of shop counters etc. This does involve some architectural input, mainly fire doors, lift shafts & stair wells, but mostly woodworking drawings.
