    Question Import Shapefile To Block Error

    I am using Civil 3D 2021 I have a shapefile from a city for hydrants I can bring them in as a point with data attached to point
    but when I try to assign a block it no longer works it says it imported but nothing comes in I have done this several times in
    the past with no issues but no it no longer works.

    Can you provide more details on your steps? Can you add screenshots where necessary?

    Can you provide the shapefile or a sample of it for others to test?

    I use the MAPIMPORT command inside of civil 3D. here is a drawing showing the hydrants
    I brought in as points and I attached the shapefile

    It appears something is incorrect in your shp file. I can import the shp file into a blank drawing. When using the block option, it brings all points in at 0,0,0 as a block. However, the blocks are not visible. I checked this by using the SELECT command with the Last option.
