Check the tooltip settings found in the right-click menu of the SSM palette.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

Thanks, Opie. I couldn't find a way to turn it off but your tip does allow me to change the preview to just the name of the layout, by far better than the preview continually getting in the way. Again, thanks!
