Worksharing - Computers with the same name?

I am curious to know if this is a problem?

All of my Revit users have their own workstations and unique usernames when they log-in as themselves. All of our mobile devices have a general user name and password which is identical on all mobile devices, this includes our mobile Revit workstations (notebooks).

I haven't had a chance to test it yet but have concerns when we encounter this while worksharing remotely.

Would my users have problems worksharing with notebooks all using the same username?

I believe this could cause some problems, as this could add potential for two different users to edit the same element at the same time.
To avoid this, you should make a new rule. Anyone working in Revit from a mobile workstation must first go to Settings>Options and enter their respective Username before opening a project. This overrides the Windows username.

ok, so renaming the username in Revit and not having to log-in as a different windows users is a possibility then. That's good to know!
