Default lock-up on Save As command

I've got several drawings in AutoCAD 2000 format that I need to save in R14 format. Every time I try, AutoCAD locks up. I have run a recovery on all of the files, but that didn't help. The only thing I can think of is that the files were made with AutoCAD 2004, or were converted to AutoCAD format from some other program.

For reference purposes I am running AutoCAD 2002 on Windows 2000.

    Any ideas?

You can try the etransmit or if you have the express tools, pack n' go.

Also you can download the AutoCAD Migration Assistance for 2002. There is a Batch Drawing Converter that you can use to convert the drawing to R14.

Search the web for "dwg2dxf.exe" from Acad Systems or AcadSee. It's shareware and it works.
