Hi,
I have 2008 LDD on my PC (so i will assume that they are sort of the same).
Althought you can open multiple drawing in LDD this was some what pointless as it locked the terrain model when you have more than one drawing open, & you really couldnt use LDD as 3D, but more as 2D AutoCAD..
The solution i use is Map, which came on the 2008 LDD CD.. I run the 2 programs at the same time, & TAB across from the LDD (3D) to the MAP (2D)..
Hope that helped...
Besides the fact that LDT commands stop working, as stated above, there is a chance that you can corrupt databases when you have more than one drawing open in LDT. Our company policy is one LDT, one drawing. If we need more than one drawing open we use Map or C3D.

I agree with jmeyer to a point. I have had two or more sites open each with their own session of LDD. I have also had multiple LDD sessions open with the seperate drawings accessing the same project files, but I found that I can't access the point database. So doing a rebuild on the surface can't be done, but I can sample the surface, and I have had no problems with aligments and profiles.
But I would suggest that you use Land enabled Map for all your multi-drawing needs. I do all the design work in one session of LDD, and open all the sheets for printing and such in Land enabled Map. I found that if you try to work LDD with SDI mode off, or switch back and forth, you run into problems with the session of LDD. Either the session profile screws up or you have stablility issues.

Hi,
Can someone tells if is possible after import the HEC-RAS file into AutoCAD with the HEC-RAS import/export extension, see the bounds/polygon of the results of Water surface?
In my case, only appears the river/alignment and the water surface extents but without the values of elevation, it´s normal?
There is another way to can see the polygon with the water attributes?
thanks
