Default Label Parameters > Family Name

Within an Annotation Family, when the Category is set to Generic Model Tags and a Label is created and set to Family Name, what exactly does this give you?

I had hoped it would return the name of the family I am attempting to tag but I get the "no tag is loaded for this type" message.

My goal is to create a legend of detail components, where the tagging of each component will return the name of said detail component family name.

What am I missing? Is this even possible? What does a Family Name label mean?

    Many thanks.

Default Re: Label Parameters > Family Name

I love when I get to answer my own questions.

    File > New > Annotation Symbol > Multi-Category Tag.rft

Label > Click to place > Family Name > Add Parameter to Label > OK

    Load into project.

    Tag > Multi-Category

    Yay
