Question Change AEC DesignCenter Content Path?

I need to change the AEC Designcenter Content path for all my users (don't ask why). Does anyone know how to do this via a LSP statement or some other programmatic method that does not involve user interaction (like users opening the options dialog box or messing around with profiles)? I know the value is stored in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER section of the registry, but I am not well-versed in LSP and even looking at the registry makes me nervous. Any suggestions or clues are appreciated.

Perhaps the solution provided here will work for you?

Thanks, but I can't get there. I receive a message stating that I don't have permission to go there. Where is there?

The thread is in the forums for the APT course 075. Click here to go to the sign up page. Once you've signed up you should have access to the link above (it's located in the discussion forums for the above mentioned class).

Talking RE: Change AEC DesignCenter Content Path?

THAT sound like a good course for me.
Thanks for the lead. I haven't looked at the ATP stuff for quite a while.

Here is another method to change this without the overhead of loading profiles and reconfiguring a users desktop. I use lisp to do this for all ADT and ABS users. If you don't want to read the "how to", just download the attachment to this post.

Thanks, Richard, this just may do the trick. I couldn't get to the How To link you provided, so I'll dust off my extremely lame LSP sKillZ to monkey with it a bit. I'll report back on the results.

Talking SOLVED by Mr. Binning: Change AEC DesignCenter Content Path?

BINGO - that did the trick. A little programming goes a long way. If I see you at AU this year, I'll buy you a beer at the AUGI beer bash. Heh.
Richard, you just saved me a bunch of angst. Hard to believe there isn't a more straightforward way of doing that. Thanks again, you are a prince.
