Is there any reason that I should not set ISAVEPERCENT to 0, besides the fact that saves will be slower?
I have done some research on the web and see that setting it to 0 has many potential benefits.
The only negative I have read is the save times are longer. Big Deal. Why does Autodesk recommend ISAVEPERCENT be set to 50%? Is this just CYA to justify putting the command in there in the first place?
- Smaller drawing size
- Drawings open faster
- Less chance for corrupt drawings (this mostly referred to R13 and R14 but who knows, might help in 2002 also)
- Can fix a problem that may occur with file dates (I have not experienced this personally)
