I had been standardizing some drawing files for a company and found about 30 drawings that had 200 KB or 705 KB of data that I couldn't account for. I had tried the following.
Purged all (including nested objects). Until there is nothing left to purge.
Erased everything then purged everything again (including nested objects).
WBlock the information to generate a new drawing. (the new drawing was the same size).
Drew a new line in the file and WBlock it (just the line). The new file generated generated was 738 KB once again 705 KB unaccounted for.
In a each case the files still had the 705 KB or 200 KB of data that I couldn't account for.
Thanks to this site and you the members. I found out about CAD LICE thank God you posted a lisp routine that Knix them.
