    Question MText Font / Style formatting issues

    We have some text when you do prop. or list the contents show this:

    {\fProxy 3|b0|i0|c162|p0;PRE-FORMED EIFS HEADER ADHERED TO
    CONCRETE PANEL PER SPECIFICATIONS, TYP.}

    This particular piece of text can not even have the style/font changed. It will show you have changed but never displays as correct text. The weird piece we have noticed is the \Proxy 3.... info in front.

    Just remove the embedded formatting, Follow these steps.

    1. Highlight the MTEXT entity.
    2. Execute the MTEDIT command.
    3. After the mtext editor opens, press Ctrl+A to select all the text
    4. Press Ctrl+Space to remove all formatting.

    Tried that already and it does not fix this issue. You have to explode mtext and then convert back to mtext. I was tring to avoid that process and am also trying to figure out why this is happening.

    Tried "what" already? Removing embedded formatting does not involve exploding the MTEXT entity.

    Hi

    If you follow the link, Melanie offered yourself above, you will come across references ( links ) to StripMText.lsp.

    Download StripMText.lsp - Load it - Run it.

    It will do exactly what you want ( I have just tested it on your example drawing file, above. It works perfectly as far as I can tell. )

    Have a good one, Mike
