Cool How select & Move Parts into new Assly!

HI! Is there a way to select a group of separate parts that are in an assembly & move them into there own assembly! The only option I have is "Demote" & this allows me only to move one part at a time into its own assly! I cant move the rest of the parts into that assl'y. Inventor just wants to keep creating new assl'ys for each part! Any ideas! Using Inventor 2011.
    Thanks!
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
After demoting the first part (and thus creating a new subassembly), double-click on the new subassembly to make it current. You can then drag the other parts into the subassembly.

You can Demote as many parts and sub-assemblies as you like at one time into a new sub assembly.
Simply Ctrl click to select them and then right mouse button Component>Demote.
