Is there a way to make an assembly name?

Is there a way to make an assembly name? Like a profile view name.

I create a column to the left of the profile and I create manual text above the assembly. It would be very cool as I am adding more regions in between if I didnt have to keep those updated manually.

Create the text with a field with the assembly's name property. You can use the AutoLISP routine in the download file provided by Jeff_M in this Autodesk Forums post. The routine will help to automate that process.
