Question Re: Better insertion of word or excel files into AutoCAD

Excell files are a much easier way of creating a door schedule, room schedule or finishes schedule, but it is a real problem not being able to include them with ease on a drawing set. I have copied and paste sections of excell by first creating a "table" and then paste the copied portion but size is limited and handling the file becames a pain. regenerating and plotting extremely slow.

    Dear Sarmad Gorial ,

If you like to paste your Excell format sheets into AutoCAD it is simple just select the area from Excell and right click and copy then go to AutoCAD in that goto Edit menu then take paste special in that dialogue box select paste as AutoCAD Entities then press ok
are you happy with this procedure ?
or if you have any VBA specialist you can add a menu in your excel programme with that the enitre file can be transfered to AutoCAD and this you can be link/updated any time when you are doing any changes in Excel

    Best Regards
