Default K-series bar joists, fully parametric, can slope too!

Not sure if this has been posted before, so thought I would share.

I copied the K-series bar joist family that our engineer was using in Revit Structure on one of our projects, and modified it to allow separate instance joist extensions at each end of the joist. To make the joist slope, you can either use a sloping reference plane, or just change the Work Plane to Pick a Plane and choose the bottom of the roof when you're placing them. This is a 2-pick family, just like wide-flange beams, etc.

I love this, but is there a version of the same thing in elevation only? I'd love to have this as a detail component to put in our sections without having to add in structural framing elements to my model.

Posted that just before the weekend...thought maybe it got moved out of view. Very much interested in seeing if anyone has created this detail component or if I should attempt it myself. I'm a bit rusty at the parametric stuff...

Okay...I basically copied the setup from the 3D version and created a 2D version.
I have to move on to other things...but the thing about this is I can't get the span to be an instance parameter like I want. If anyone wants to work on this, it would be a great help!

Let me know if you have any other adjustments or improvements.
