Default Improved control over multiple documents

Summary: Change the taskbar command to make multiple open drawings accessable through a toolbar or a palette

Description: I wish Autodesk would improve on the TASKBAR command. It should be a toolbar or palette within AutoCAD and dockable on the top, side or bottom of the screen

How Used: Many users have multiple drawings open, and a tool that would allow a quick and easy, one click way to change drawings would be greatly appreciated.

Lynn Allen's suggestion (Ctrl+Tab) is free as is the Drawing Tabs add-on.

The other two offer more features than just switching drawings, such as restoring views, saving the drawing, etc.

Hopefully something equivalent to one of the non-free ones will make it into r2008 though....

Unfortunately, adesk seem to have the knack of taking an excellent 3rd party add-on and removing the one feature that makes it truly useful. MouseImp is the first one that springs to my mind but I'm sure there have been others.

I hadn't realized that Drawing Tabs had updated to include 2007; it hadn't the last time I checked. That is good to know, since my users have been crying about something like this since we upgraded

Some third party applications do exist, however, this would still be
something good to include in future releases.

I would like something that doesn't contain company advertising, fits
into to overall look of AutoCad, and is program friendly.
