Summary: For the Reference label ("Sym.", "Typ.", "Opp. Hand") to be returned to an instance parameter rather than a type parameter.
Description: For the Reference label ("Sym.", "Typ.", "Opp. Hand") to be returned to an instance parameter rather than a type parameter. How Used: This has been broken since around release 6. In the current for the feature is unusable. As an instance parameter, different reference text can be insterted to properly identify the correct reference situation. Agreed. I'd always wondered if I had been using this incorrectly. It has been broken for way too long.

I don't remember this ever being an instance parameter. I remember being able to create different types of sections with Sim or Opp, etc. back in version 6 and 7, and then around 7.1 or 8, this was no longer possible.
However this was actually fixed in 2008. We can now once again create different section and detail types with Sim, Opp or whatever else we need.

But yeah it would be nice to have it as an instance parameter.

As I recall, it was broke after version 6.5.

Agreed - "Sim, Typ, Opp" is much more useful as an instance parameter. Until this is fixed, we will be using text notes instead.
