We are having a power plant built and the contractor has drawn the model in Microstation. So we might have to obtain a ms license. Anyone know what they cost or how to find out? I don't have any channels for ms.

Hi Ed
I could give it to you in £'s but I don't think that would help much
Mike
The only pounds I know about is when I step on the scale. Man, I'm rich!

We maintain a single license of Microstation for translation purposes. We recently upgraded this license from MS95 to V8 for the grand total of about $800.00 by activating a select agreement. Even with an annual agreement, the cost was much lower than the outright cost of buying a new license.Originally Posted by eljobe

That's kinda what I'm looking into Richard. But I don't have anything to upgrade. What would a new seat cost, roughly?

You said "roughly".
MicroStation is about $2,400 to $2,600 a seat.
It's a little more than AutoCAD (w/ no upgrades)
Hope that helps.
