Summary: The ability to fade the colors of an XREF'd drawing.
Description: Ability to fade the color of layers of the drawing that is Xreferenced. Currently we can change the colors of the Xref. drawing, but it would be nice if can keep the same colors but fade them. How Used: This will maintain original color scheme of the drawing. Feature Affinity: XREF Submitted By: Girish Gohil on December 29, 2008 |

You can Lock those layers, then modify the LAYLOCKFADECTL system variable to something like 50 to have each faded by 50%.
Or easier still, just lock the layer onto which the XRef is placed.
