Just a quick question, does the crop region for a view have to be square or can I edit the shape? If I can edit the shape, how do I edit it?

Only square at the present time. R8 maybe?

No, I've asked for this since version 3.

Has anybody noticed now when you do a crop on a perspective it only occupies a small zone on the screen, and when you do z-x, to zoom all, nothing happens?

The crop region on a perspective only affects the size of the viewport relative to the active window and when you do a Z-X it just fills the active window with the viewport. In order to zoom the perspective itself you need to relocate the camera.

HCSL, I know that, I am saying when trying to do a z-x on the cropped region, it wasn't filling the active window.

Try a rectangular crop region and lose the stuff you don't require with a white filled region with invisible lines for its outline. Stick the view on a sheet and move the title to a location that suits you.

I tried this method earlier. The white filled region covers only the model elements and the annotation elements like grid lines, text etc are not concealed by this filled regeon.
You've got to be kidding me!!! So, the only way to achieve this is to actually do 2 seperate callouts, hide one of them and then hide the view title on one of them on the sheet.
You folks at the factory sure do make it a challenge for us out here trying to convert Acad users to Revit! Perhaps we need a little more focus on the basic functions that we've had in Acad for years now (irregular shaped viewports, a real text editor, some way of importing Word & Excel documents, etc...)
