View Full Version : Top of Wall Control
In Revit Walls it appears as though the controls are limited to a specified horizontal level or a manually input height value. Is there any way to have a top of wall see a reference plane that would for example define the bottom of the sloping structure or roof sheathing above?

You can select the wall and then click "attach". Then select the reference plane or roof you want the top of the wall to follow.
In case you haven't spotted it (took me ages to find it) the option as to whether you are attaching the top of the wall or the bottom of the wall to a reference plane or other element appears only once you have clicked the wall and then the 'Attach' command.
The option buttons then appear in the bar below the ribbon but above the main view window, far left of screen.
