OK, I give up, can you still make a massing object and then render it like 09? I create a mass, create a perspective view, and then wnat to render like 09. In 09 I would see the Teapot, I don't in 10.

It's still there at the bottom of the Viewport - the teapot is partly obscured by a blue lightbulb(?) but it is still there.

Its down at the bottom of the screen nest to shadows on or off.

yeah, its now a lightbulb with an arc above it.....
as I posted this elsewhere, I never use it as long as they leave me the following shortcut:
in a 3D model view or camera view, hit R and the spacebar to bring up the rendering dialogue.

Sure, in plan views etc, this will bring up Rooms, but in camera and 3D / model, the Rendering Dialogue comes up and is faster and easier than locating the bulb and shade ? and clicking on it.

That lightbulb is a toggle on/off indicator.
The icon resembles a teapot because that's the first 3D model ever rendered.
