We started project in Revit 2010(Site plan and main building linked to it) and decided to put shadows on all floor plans. But the shadows casted in the area of the linked file are Darker than the shadows falling on our Site plan. Any idea would be appreciated.

best regards

I just talked with other colleagues and this is definitely a Bug. Shadows are normal when Color scheme is turned off in the Linked file. Shadows even work with Color scheme, but if it's in the Site project file.

The picture you attached looks normal to me. The shadow is darker because it's being cast on a darker surface.

May be shadows are darker, but you can't make them lighter. That's the problem. They always stay dark no matter what you do. This only happens if you enabled some Color scheme in the linked file.

The darkness of the shadows are linked with your render settings of the view, ensure the sun settings are the same for each view and for lightest effect use midday.

Open Project 2.rvt and try to change the shadows in it.
Project 1.rvt is linked in Project 2 file.
