Pre-existing massing family: within family editor; show work plane; and change grid spacing to 6"; seledt grid intersection and move to desired point.

in elevation views the grid seems to show random spacing and display of grid lines. Sometimes the vertical lines are not displaying, sometimes it is the horizontal ones. In other words, while i am trying to draw some model lines - snapping to the grid lines - the grid lines themselves are not visible in some places. As I zoom in and out the lines display, and appear to move from point I moved them to. This is a graphics issues, because the grid is actually where I placed it.

This occurs only with 6", 3", 2", and 1"spacing. so far, all other spacing does as expected.

anyone else have this issue?

Hi,
I have not had this exact problem however, last night during trials, turning on and off the Show Workplane, crashed Revit out.
I have never had this happen in Revit back to R 4.5, so I assume this is a bug.
Last night I think I filed 5 or 7 error reports in less than 3 hours every time Revit crashed.
Shame, but for me, right now, I could not use 2010 for real, no way.

Try it again to see if you can duplicate the precise problem, then if so, report it with a Support Request is the best course I think.

Further workplane issues:
I am trying to create an in-place mass and the show workplane feature does work - it shows the set work plane. However, there is no grid shown, and I am unable to select the work plane to change the spacing. Not sure if this is due to being in the mass editor mode, but it is not very helpful.
