Is there a way to control the width of the wrap return, or is it locked to the material width?

Locked, as far as I can tell.

That is what I figured. Just wanted to double check. Thanks.

There are ways to turn it off in walls, and control it via special reference planes from within the family.

that's for depth into the wall I think rather than thickness of the return?

DD's blog had a helpful description of setting the plane for the return depth

You could possibly make your wall thickness out of two layers - the outer at the thickness you wanted to return and only have that one wrap?

Problem is that I wanted the return of the finish to be thicker (twice normal) at the opening.
