Take off Schedules

Hello All

I am in the process of preparing take off schedules on a project at the SD stage.

I was wondering whether anyone can give tips or direct me to posts that address this

topic. For instance what is the best way to schedule exterior materials?

Use a Material Take-off schedule. That is a particular type of schule. You'll have to make separate schedules for the system-based families, since these cannot be contained in a multi-catagory schedule.
