text parameter graphic override

If I have a text based project parameter, is there any way I can set up an override to turn any object with text in that parameter red?

Maybe. Have you looked into Filters? "Should" be able to create a filter for that parameter on all objects and then change their display to whatever you want.

yes I tryed making a filter. I cannot select a project parameter for some reason. In the filters dialog, under filer rules I can select (none), Workset, or <More parameters...>. When I select 'more parameters', it takes me to a project parameters dialog. When I select my parameter and click OK, it bounces back to the filters dialog with (none) selected.

What object category did you pick for your filter, or what category is the object(s) you want to display red?

multiple categories, so I just selected all for the parameter

ah i got it... I had to deselect Grids, Levels, Pads, Pipe Accessories, Roads, and Shaft Openings, apparently because project parameters cannot apply to those object types. Pretty dumb.
