Duct Family Modification help

Could anyone help me understand how to modify the attached duct part to allow for different radius bends?

I am also looking for this usability feature for the following duct part:

I would rather understand how it is done than have someone do it for me.

Neil,

Try adjusting the radius multiplier. In the first family, there is a formula for a parameter called "l1." The multiplier appears to be 1.5. Increasing that value should give you a larger radius.

It might look a little funny at first, but if you increase the duct width parameter "W1", it should sort itself out.

I tried decreasing it to 1.0 and the part seems to fall apart a little bit. It looks very funny.
