Hello,

I am a civil engineer using Revit 2009 to design a renovation project that I am working on for myself (old brick single family).

I am going through a book by Daniel John Stine to become familiar with the program. Everything is going on so far, but I can't figure this one out....

I was wondering why on the East Elevation View there is only 4 elevations (roof, 2nd floor, 1st floor, foundation), but on all other Elevations (N, W, S) there are 7 different elevations (roof, 2nd floor, 1st floor, foundation, basement, TO footing, BO footing)??

Doesn't make sense to me?

First make go to the elevation where the levels are missing and make sure that they aren't hidden (check the light bulb at the bottom of the screen to reveal any hidden elements. If they are hidden, just select them and "Unhide elements). If that's not the problem, then you can try going to any other 3D view where you can see the levels, select them and select the option to Reset the 3D extents.. Maybe your levels are not extending all the way to allow that particular elevation to see them...

Yup, they were hidden. Thanks for the Advise.

I'm sure I will be here asking questions a bunch.

Anybody have any good books or training programs for Revit Architecture??

Thanks again
