Rock wool insulation

Is there a way to draw a rock wool (like Roxul) insulation patern like the file attached using Revit with a filled region?

We want to show a hatch pattern for this in section crossing curtain wall spandrel pannel

If you already have it in a .pat file, then you can import it as a custom hatch pattern. You cannot create it from scratch inside revit though.

I would do this as a reapeating detail so it works more like the regular insulation command

In the help files there are instructions on creating a custom hatch pattern file. That would not be too difficult to create. Search help for "Fill Pattern" and read the instruction and syntax sections.
