Here are two shot of Revit and Max, showing partially obscured menus. Is this fixable or is it a bug? These are the 64 bit versions.

what is your screen resolution? This looks like a video / resolution problem to me. I have seen it before in other software.

2560 by 1600....This is a 30" monitor...I dragged Revit onto another monitor (21") with a 1200 by 1600 and have the same results.

Check in Control Panel, Display, Settings Tab, Advanced - General Tab. DPI should be set to Normal (96 DPI). Seeing as you have a very high res monitor, this may well be set to Large (120)

I'm running VIista 64 and don't find the path ypu are describing. This occurs on both 2010 products but not on the 2009 versions, so I suspect that it is not an issue with screen resolution but with something in the 2010 releases.
I checked it on my latop, Vista 32, and have the same issue, so it must be related to the 2010 release.

I just talked with my reseller tech and it is a BUG, which will hopefully be addressed in the first sevice pack.
FWIW I'm running a 30" monitor at 2560 x 1600 with Vista 64 and 120 dpi fonts and don't see this on either product - but it may be something to do with if you are using Nview or Ati equivalent with multiple monitors (I just use the one).
I have noticed that vertical temporary dimensions have part of the last number chopped off irrespective of the screen resolution or graphic card, so it could all be part of the same issue.
