Can't open a 6.1 file in 7.0

I have a file that I have been working on in 6.1 and cannot open it in 7 for some reason. Has anybody had this problem and how do you fix it. I tried saving with a different file name but still won't open. Also i haven't had problems with any other files opening in 7. Please Help!!

Did you try and open a previous backup of the file to see if it would take? I would make a copy of your files to experiment with so you don't somehow lose the originals in the process.

When you say it just won't open, what is it doing? Is the system hanging? Is it returning an error message? More info would help us help you. Help us help you! ;)

Tried to open a copy of original as well as backup files. I get an error message: "Failed to open document"

We're having the same problem with a project. In a weird twist, we can open it with a Windows 2000 Pro computer, but not with two XP Pro SP2 computers. I sent it to Revit Support for review and some help.

We really want to use 7, but this is a bit disconcerting.
