Has anyone had their plus signs disappear from the Project Browser and Visibility/Graphics dialog box? It's strange... when they disapear sometimes it will still let you expand and collapse the heirarchy and sometimes it won't.. frustrating.

Restarting Revit helps this but does anyone know why this happens? It's annoying restarting Revit all the time.

It would usually happen to me a couple hours into a working day. I chalked it up to memory usage. I just figured my computer was getting tired and gave up displaying everything.

This happens to me quite often. Happened to me today and all I had open on my computer was a 46MB revit project file. Certainly frustrating.

Yup. It happens when system resources are low. Followed by logos disappearing from titleblocks and views not plotting on sheets. Give it the middle-of-the-day-restrart, hehehe

Try disabling any theme you have, go back to Windows Classic

Haven't had that issue since 9.1. Then again I've changed jobs (and computers) inbetween.
A midday restart usually fixes it (lunchbreak).

I have the same problem but for me I can always expand and collapse just like the button was there. It is nice to know that I am not the only one with this problem and looks like it is another one Autodesk didn't fix, again.

I had heard that this was due to a Windows memory leak (it may actually be endemic to the RAM hardware itself), not something Autodesk should be blamed for.

I have also heard that it is a Windows memory leak and not Revit.
