Yo,
I am working on a 2 story building and starting to cut sections. For some reason the section marks on the top story are not showing. They show on the other floors. I've checked visibility graphics settings and everything is on. Elevation marks are showing OK.

Anybody got any ideas or has experienced a similar situation?

Have a great day...

Go to the section and make sure the view box (crop box) is going all the way to the top of your building. The section mark will not show up on levels that occur above the top of the cropping.

Check the properties of the section mark for a parameter regarding "Hide a scales courser than" and select one that is appropriate for your scale on the 2nd floor.

Hope that Helps,

Yes, the crop box deos extend up through the level.
and yes the "Hide a scales courser than" is set appropriately.

hhhhmmmm?

Thanks your help...

...hhhhmmmm?...Another culprit is when a section is not perpendicular to the view...it won't show up. It is very easy to sketch in a section marker "inaccurately" on a plan where bldgs are not othogonal to the view.

Steve,
No the level is not skewed in any way. It's a strange occurrence. I may have to ship this one off to our friends at Revit......
Thanks
